You spoke and we listened. In 2011, USPI formed the Physician Strategy Group as a direct response from our physician customers in the USPI Network to provide services that will help their practices thrive. We understand that when our services help you and your practice, USPI also benefits. This ensures that our goals are 100% aligned with yours.

Senior Director, Practice Marketing and Growth
Susan Edwards brings over eighteen years of experience to the physicians in the USPI network. With an education in Advertising, Susan landed in the healthcare industry by way of a solo physician practice and then into an acute rehabilitation hospital. It was at the rehab hospital where she discovered she had a small role in making a difference in people’s lives and intuitively knew it was something special. Susan has pursued marketing in various other settings including large acute care health systems, physician private practice and as a contract management provider. Susan is able to translate her experience to the PSG clients and often takes a similar approach as Financial Planner by tailoring the marketing strategies and growth tactics that fit the goals of the practice, market conditions and ability of the practice to sustain the recommendations. Susan is Board Certified through the American College of Health Care Executives and was named ‘Volunteer of the Year for 2013’ by her local chapter. Marketing and sales have been a natural evolution for Susan, which started in her youth as she charged the neighborhood kids for rides on her horse around the supermarket parking lot.
